Handmade by ceramic artist Michiko Shida in her Frankfurt studio, each matcha bowl is shaped on the potter’s wheel using stoneware clay from the nearby Westerwald region.

Known for its strength and durability, this local clay forms a bowl made for the daily ritual of preparing and enjoying matcha.

Available in three glaze finishes: black, white and white with stripes. Subtle variations in shape and glaze give each handmade bowl its own character.
