Ō-06
Competition-grade first-flush sencha from Hoshinomura, Yame — sweet, luminous, and quietly profound.
-
Ō-06 is a 2025 first-harvest sencha from Hoshinomura, the mountain village of Yame, selected by tea master Domoto-san of Meichaen in Fukuoka. Crafted by Hoshino Seicha and composed mainly of the Saemidori cultivar, it opens with a pale, crystalline liquor and a pure, elegant aroma.
Smooth and sophisticated, 06 reveals layered green sweetness, gentle umami, and a mellow finish that lingers with restraint. Naturally light in caffeine and beautifully suited to multiple infusions, it may be enjoyed hot or cold-brewed throughout the day.
A rare expression of Yame sencha — refined, complex, and quietly unforgettable.
